Pig Out in Dotdan

If your rollin through Dothan, this is a must try.

The man that runs this place knows what he is doing. They always have ribs ready, sometimes I get a slab at 10:30 am. They are cooked perfectly. You get a full slab of meaty, juicy ribs for $20. That is a very good price for the quality of the meat. He also sells the sauce by the bottle, I recommend buying a bottle when you get a slab. This place not fancy, but the food is really good. Easily the best ribs in Dothan.

Last few times we stopped they were out of several items. Ordered Family pack of bbq and were told no buns but would add a few beans. Then “we almost out of beans too”. Charged full price though for only part of order. Only 12:30 lunch time. Won’t be back.

Pork sandwich and Brunswick stew are terrific!

It wasn't as good as usual it was close to closing and they were ready to go home. The chicken had little seasoning but the fries were very good. They stopped sweeping the floor when asked.

Had a large bbq sandwich combo with fries and a sweet tea. Sandwich had cartilage chopped in with the meat and seemed like it was made over the weekend. Very dry!!! Fries were the best part, but they’re just crinkle fries with a ton of dry rub dumped on them. Nothing special. The tea was no good either, first time I’ve had gross sweet tea in the south but they figured it out. Save your $9 and go get bbq at a local Dairy Queen, it’s that bad.

Don't let the converted gas station with a metal building attached fool you. Food was great! Dinning area is small. Definitely worth a stop.

Friendly seems fast service. The seasoning on the meat is so good you almost don't need barbecue sauce and d you can have all the sweet tea you can handle.

Ribs and beans where good. Brisket dry, pulled port wet and sloopy. Yuck! Slaw was ok. Place was a bit old and beat up.

Man! I only get Pig Out once a year and he has no stew! Ok.. a little stew but I need LOTS!! I still love you though.

I ordered the rib plate and it was terrible! The ribs had no flavor or smoke on them. The pork sandwich was ok. I feel like they should have more pride in what the sell. My rib plate had a piece of garlic toast and the toast was hard as a brick. They are always very friendly but the food just isn't good.

The ribs were super tender

While the ribs are big, getting only 4 in rib platter falls short for me. Thus the 4 stars. IMHO, it should be 5 or 6 ribs. Food/service is great.

This place is absolutely phenomenal! I was so impressed by the food I got to day From pig out. My ribs arrived hot and perfectly cooked they were also individually separated which I loved many places will not do that for you. The meat was fall off the bone delicious. Truly honestly the best pork ribs I ever had in my life. I am a customer for life.

Stopped in today based on reviews and we will definitely be back. The ribs were delicious. Extremely tender and juicy. Not much to look at from the outside but I’m glad I didn’t let that stop me from trying it!

Does not compare to Chucks BBQ in anyway at all.

Best ribs ive ever had in my life.. Hands down.. Amd Im from south florida... I also ordered a bbq shredded pork sandwich.. ...bbq is a dry rub and they also make their owm sauces.. I like the sweet sauce.IG: Remirem954... Im out here!

I ordered the smoked wings they was extremely big and had feathers on them very gross want be going back!!!

Maybe we went the wrong time of day or something, because we did not have a good experience. The service was fast, maybe too fast. I got smoked wings, my husband got bbq sandwich. My wings were so hard & dry I couldn't eat them, potatoe salad was more like mashed potato salad. My husband said his sandwich was ok. Won't be back.

Didn't get to try the Bbq sauce because they forgot to put it in our pickup order, but it was good and not fatty.

I loved this place! Staff was amazing, nice vibe inside, ribs were tender and juicy, plus they have a variety of sauces. I liked the North Carolina amd their sweet sauce mixed. No doubt when I am in the area we will be stopping there. Seriously some of the best BBQ I have had.

Best BBQ in town. I had the pulled pork and stew, both were well prepared. The pork comes without sauce, and they have several to choose from! This place looks kinda run down, but if you know BBQ in the south-those are the places you SHOULD be looking for. The service was good, and they have a well rounded menu. If you're wanting BBQ, don't waste your time anywhere else around Dothan, these guys have them beat.

This is by far the best BBQ place in Dothan. The pork is tender and flavorful. The sauce is sweet and satisfying. The fries are seasoned, crispy, and delicious. Prices are fair, especially considering the large portions. If you go an hr or so before closing time, they're often out of 50% of the sides, though. However, the amazing taste of the food makes up for it! You'll definitely be back again once you try it.

Called order in via phone. 15 minutes later arrived to pick up. Order never assembled. Had to wait for order to be filled. Quality was real good.

We’ve stopped here 5 years in a row going to and from Panama City Beach. The best bbq we’ve had. Ribs are great. Wings are great. Even the hot dogs are great!
